Rezension des Butterick-Schnitts 6107:
Gerader Schnitt, großzügige Weite, nur wenig Schnittteile (prima für Musterstoffe) und schnell genäht - ich empfehle dieses Schnittmuster gern weiter. Für diesen Wintermantel war er ideal: denn ich brauchte die Hundemotive nicht zerteilen, denn das Rückenteil ist aus einem Stück, die Vorderteile haben keine Abnäher, die Ärmel haben nur eine Naht, Taschen sind in den Seitennähten. Statt Knöpfe mit Knopflöchern gibt es satinbezogene Druckknöpfe zum Schließen. Den lockeren Sitz mag ich sehr, seit 1 Woche trage ich den Mantel jeden Tag auf dem Weg ins Büro, kann noch mein Bürooutfit inkl. Blazer drunter tragen. Den Stehkragen (im Schnitt vorgesehen) habe ich an dem Mantel weggelassen, meistens trage ich doch Schal oder Loop, so gab es nur einen Rundhalsausschnitt. Das Material ist Tweed mit 80 % Wollanteil, schön warm für den Winter.
Patternreview of Butterick 6107:
Straight cut, loose fit, few pieces only (good for prints) and sewed quickly - I highly recommend this sewing pattern. For my coat it was ideal: I needed not divide the dog motifs, because the back is one piece, the front has no tucks, the sleeves have also just one seam, and the pockets are in the side seams. Instead of buttons and button holes I used covered press buttons as closure. I appreciate the loose fit of the coat most, last week I wore the coat daily when I left for the office, I can wear my office outfit with blazer underneath. The pattern showed a stand-up collar but I left it off, made a round neck instead, because mostly I wear scarves or loops anyway. The fabric is 80 % wool and pretty warm for the upcoming winter.

- Kreppjersey "Dark Camel" - daraus nähe ich die Hose vom Titel der Burda Easy H/W 2016 / Crepe jersey "dark camel" - I'll sew jogpants from the latest Burda Easy issue
- Schnalle aus Resin - was ich damit mache, weiß ich noch nicht.. sie gefiel mir einfach. / Resin buckle - I have no idea what to do with it, but I liked it.
- Schere von HAY / Scissors from HAY
- Roter Romanitjersey, daraus wird ein knielangen Rock / Heavy jersey in red for a skirt
- Inspiration für all dies war mein Stoff-Mitbringsel aus Rom: edler Tweed mit Chevronmuster in braun/creme/rot im Stil von Prada - daraus will ich mir die Kurzjacke 118 aus der Burda 10/2016 nähen. / Inspiration for all these fabric purchases was this Chevron tweed in brown/creme-white/red in Prada style - I'll sew this shortjacket #118 from Burdastyle 10/2016.
